Vday....

So ppls how was your Vday celebration??oh mine was simple because i didn’t wanna go out to for fancy dinner or what so ever.. i just wanted to do some cooking back at home since there is no one going to be at home that night,bro & sis went out for dates n lil sis is still in United State, even my parent is out to Genting for Sally Yeh concert..

It all because of last year bad experience dinner on Vday, it just too commercialize in a way that limited choice of selection of food other then just sets dinner, so of coz we are ok with that but beside that is like it suppose to be a romantic dinner, but it happen to be jam pack with people, for example normally an area usually can fit only can fit 2 table but on that night all because they trying to accommodate more people for dinner at 1 time end up have to cram 4table more in 1 area, can u imagine how close is 1 table to another?

so this time I plan to celebrate it at home and enjoy all the privacy i can.. it was fun cooking at home ... yes don't judge me, I know every1 thinks that i can't cook but in fact that i cant prove to you guy are all wrong muahaha..... so for that night main theme for the dinner was :Seafood's..

Starter : bun with garlic spread

Appetizer : Seafood mix in potato salad
:lala(clams) soup with vege ,why clams soup?coz he challange me to cook it b4
Side dish : mushroom in garlic.
Main : Seafood tom yam spaghetti
Dessert : espresso tiramisu (starbucks) with banana


Don't believe i cooked?? so let have a look at how i do it.. haha..
so below is some of the step of how i cook....
clean the sotong & prawn(preparation steps)

just stir fried them in garlic butter till half cook and flavour them in soya sauce.

first of all boil the pasta in tomyam paste then drain it.. as i am cooking tom yam seafood pasta so i boil it in tom yam paste in order that the pasta get to soak in the tom yam flavour instead of the flavour just on the outer layer...
so after draining it the... put them on a dry bowl then toast them with garlic butter so that the pasta is smoother and will not stick all together...

spread the tom yam paste in lil amount of water.. if your prefer you pasta to be a lil more wet then put in more water...
so next is to fried them all together.. with seafood that you have fried or ready b4 this...and the tom yam paste all together then you may able to the fragrance tom yam seafood's pasta....as simple as that just that you need to prepare a bit long... btw i didn't not follow any recipe but i just cook according to what i have taste b4 and i know what ingredients they use to put in so i just cook the way i like... muahaha..


btw i hate to cook according to recipe that why i hate to bake..
next the side dish....

braised mushrooms with garlic...


firstly just clean and chop your mushroom in to smaller piece...

stir fried them on garlic butter..with some onion too... then add some soya source to taste...

2 slice of dory fish just to fit in the seafood theme... marinate them in paper,salt,mix herb & also dill.
just fried them slow fire...
deep fried the "ikan bilis"small fishy for day soup... later,,...

boiled them in hot water for as soup base..... then later add salt to taste then add on lala(clams),crabstick,sotong & vege.

raw bacon... to be bbq....bbq hot plate for our bacon...
the end result of my tom yam seafood spaghetti....

moi very satisfied and my cooking sessions....

this is my satisfied customer......happy Vday for him..

of coz Vday must complete wit presie....


after dinner we continue with late night movie so.. we hangout at my house till around 10 then we go move to one utama for "look for a star" nice movie...

had my pot of jasmine and a cup of one ringgit coffee...


so that all for my simple valentine day......

update: I forgot to tell u guy that is was a surprise from him...
after i done cooking he ask me to get ready he come n pick me up,just to teman him to go back to his new office to pick up some stuff wor.. i also also blur blur just follow.. then later on we reach his office he went & do his thing then i was just waiting out side but after i while i just go in to check why is he talking so long.. he actually waiting for me to come in to surprise me with a bouquet of lily.. well i am quite surprise & happy...

CNY BBq @ Zhen's

Sorry for the missing in action haha...
anyway i was enjoying my CNy from cho 1 till the 15(Chap GOh Mei) lor haha...
most of the time gambling hanging out with friends....
damn alot of MJ session...
Before this bbq session on cho 2 also went to BBQ @ Yen Hoe's Place then went to RAM place for another gathering bbq on cho 10, so CNy is totaly a time for gathering wei...
so on the cho14 one day b4 chap goh mei ,Zhen call us for a last minute BBQ at his place..
It was last minute but it was nice... all the food that they have prepare was good...
it was nice gathering...


moi bbq the bacon... super yummie k...

look at my bacon... shiny one lei.. honey bbq bacon.. slup....
after eating so just chill around then start gambling session....
played blackjack again... but the different is with super big cards..lolx

haha guess what of the who cny that night is the only night that i got double A's haha

while we a gambling half way the host done grilling the prawn for us plus even feed Mr ho haha.
